Mintimer Shaimiev: “Kamaz” should develop as steadily as its team “Kamaz-Master”

Today, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev met team of “Kamaz-Master”, the winners in rally “Lisbon-Dakar-2006”, in Kazan Kremlin.

RT Prime-Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of RT President’s Administration Yuri Kamaltynov, RT Vice-Premier - Minister of transport and roads – President of auto-motosports federation Vladimir Shvetsov, RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev and other officials took part in the meeting.

Having appreciated on more victory of “Kamaz-Master”, Head of the republic noted that it is not being perceived as touchstone but a natural phenomenon. “It is not just the team’s achievement but of all the Rossiyans, and most important, it is an achievement of national automotive industry and engineering thought”, - Mintimer Shaimiev underlined. President of RT expressed his satisfaction with N.Chelny’s enterprise, having noted that according to the last year’s results JSC “KAMAZ” distinguished itself, in what there is a fair merit contributed by director general of the company Sergei Kogogin. “There was a time when “Kamaz” had not been capable to prepare the crew due to financial obstacles, we had to finance it from the republic’s budget, - M.Shaimiev said. – I am glad that despite all that we have not lost the crew, and, moreover, a certain confidence appeared in terms of production”. “Kamaz” should develop as steadily as its team”, - RT President delivered his wishes to the staff of the enterprise.
