Mintimer Shaimiev met with Ukrainian Prime-Minister Viktor Yanukovich

On August 11, 2006, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Ukrainian Prime-Minister Viktor Yanukovich.
They discussed further development of economic relations between Tatarstan and Ukraine in petrochemical field, motor and aircraft industry. In particular, they talked about attracting investments for modernisation of Kremenchug oil refinery, oil delivery and oil price policy, as well as prospects of organization of assembling production of KAMAZ trucks in Ukraine.
“We have big experience in cooperation with Ukraine, and today we are prepared to set larger-scale tasks”, RT President marked at the end of the meeting.
RT First Deputy Prime-Minister Ravil Muratov and Director General of OAO Tatneft Shafaget Takhautdinov took part in the meeting.
