President Mintimer Shaimiev three hours answered questions of journalists

During a press conference the head of republic answered almost two ten questions. In the opening address he reminded of scale events which had taken place this year: 60-anniversary of the Great Patriotic war and 1000-anniversary of Kazan, summed up municipal elections past in October, informed about the main economic achievements of Tatarstan, the planned vistas of implementing national projects sounded by the President of Russia, in our republic.

Answering a question of "Tatar -Inform" agency about what the Russian Islamic university to be a secular or religious educational institution, the President of Tatarstan noted that the opportunity of creating conditions for receiving two degrees is considered according to the choice of pupils.

In Mintimer Shaimiev's opinion in spite of the fact that in the society a big way has been passed in the field of developing religious institutions, process of their becoming keeps going. "The problem is not that to be or not to be for Islamic university, there is another problem - even of plenty of young people entering the universities today the problem is regarding their employment - the President noted.
