Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated RF chief of drug's oversight dept. over Tatarstan on conferring rank of general

December 9, 2005, by Decree of President of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin chief of department of Federal service of the Russian Federation on oversight of drugs traffic over Republic Tatarstan Ilgiz Marsovich Minullin was conferred a rank of general - major of police.

Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev received Ilgiz Minullin in the Kremlin and congratulated him on this high rank, informs RT President Press center.

Handing over new shoulder boards Mintimer Shaimiev thanked general Minullin for long-term, true service for the country. « You by all you work activity have deserved this high rank. And now, as head of the major division of law enforcement body you are on a first line since the future of the republic depends on efficiency of struggle against illegal drugs traffic in many respects, and the country as a whole », - the President of republic emphasized.
