Mintimer Shaimiev discussed with Viktor Demidov perspectives of RT Constitutional Court

December 13, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Chairman of RT Constitutional Court Viktor Demidov.




Viktor Demidov informed President on constitutional legitimacy condition in republic and the results of RT Constitutional Court activity for 2005. They touched upon issues concerning constitutional procedure and citizen appeals, perspectives of work of this court body, RT President’s press-service reports.

Having underlined special significance of the institution of constitutional justice in the republic, Mintimer Shaimiev highly assessed activity of this body in Republic Tatarstan, and noted that there was quite an experience gained in ensuring RT Constitution functioning that allows protecting constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of Tatarstan in civilized way as accepted all over the world.
