Mintimer Shaimiev: On example of Cheremshan region we see how social programs in republic implemented

RT President Mintimer Shaimiev has made a working trip to Cheremshan region Tatarstan. The first object in region visited by head of the republic, became eight-kilometer roundabout road near region's center including the bridge in extent of 114 meters.

Over 100 million roubles have been channeled from the budget of republic for road-building works which had proceeded for two years. Thanks to the road, today transit transport goes from republic to Samara region bypassing region's center.

Then the President and persons accompanying him familiarized with of works on clearing the bed of the river Bolshoi Cheremshan from silt. Its bottom to be deepened up to four meters. The river in high water is usually strongly flooded, damaging houses of residents . After carried out works marshiness of the bank supposed to be over.

The big event for inhabitants of the region became this day opening of children's school of arts, earlier it had settled down in old unadapted premise. The new temple of arts for children is placed in three- storey building where the young talents can go in for music, dances and drawing in the rooms furnished with modern equipment.

Sharing out with journalists the impressions about trip to Cheremshan region, the President noted: Here we have personally seen the contribution to development of education of rising generation, it is invaluable. On example of Cheremshan region we see, how social programs in republic are implemented.
