Mintimer Shaimiev met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Republic Slovenia to Russia Andrei Benedeichich

Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev has received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Republic Slovenia to Russia Andrei Benedeichich in the Kazan Kremlin.

As Mintimer Shaimiev noted during a meeting, today Slovenia is the most constructive, stable and advanced republic among all states entering once in structure of Yugoslavia. Organization of tourism and rendering of services at a high level, in opinion of the President of Tatarstan is the evidence of enterprise spirit of Slovene people. Mintimer Shaimiev expressed hope, that the industrial potential of Tatarstan and economic experience of Slovenia would find things in common in cooperation between the two republics. It is necessary to show good will and to create conditions for mutually advantageous contacts, the head of republic noted.
