Today opened the VI congress of “The United Russia” party in Krasnoyarsk

Today RT President, Co-chairman of the Supreme Council of All-Russia party “The United Russia” Mintimer Shaimiev participates in the 6th congress of the party held in Krasnoyarsk.

600 delegates and 400 guests take part in the forum. There are the RF State Duma and the Federation Council deputies, representatives of federal bodies, members of the Government, heads of federal subjects. Farid Mukhametshin, member of the Supreme Council of “The United Russia” party, Secretary of regional division of “The United Russia” and around 30 delegates from Tatarstan arrived to the congress.

It is the first time when “The United Russia” holds its congress not in the capital but in region. Krasnoyarsk was chosen not by an accident – geographically it is the centre of Russia. According to official information, by carrying out the congress in Krasnoyarsk, “The United Russia” underlines that it is its unconditional priority to preserve unity of the country within the present borders, strengthening of its political and economic development.
