President Mintimer Shaimiev delivered to playwright Tufan Minnullin Order “For merits before Republic of Tatarstan”

Today at the G. Kamal Tatar state academic theatre the anniversary of Tufan Minullin, the honored worker of arts of Russia, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan was celebrated.

The author of more than fifty plays entered in gold fund of the Tatar dramatic art turned 70 years. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, art and culture public figures of the republic, the colleagues , friends congratulated him on anniversary. Mintimer Shaimiev delivered to Tufan Minullin the order «For merits before Republic of Tatarstan», and announced that the playwright is awarded with a rank «National writer of Republic of Tatarstan».

Mintimer Shaimiev, sincerely having congratulated the hero of anniversary on behalf of multinational people of the republic, said : « We are grateful to Tufan Minulln for plays with so deep sense penetrating into soul of a man, we bow to his talent. Tufan Minullin became in the best sense of this word "captive" of a creative path. Optimism, aspiration to live worthy in full sense of this word piercing all works of the playwright. Especially brightly they are expressed in image of Almandar. Legendary old man Almandar has involved the best features of our people », - President said having added, that the playwright always were marked by sincerity and honesty.
