Dear Muslims of Tatarstan!

Cordially I congratulate you with holiday Uraza-Bairam!

This day, when, according to the scriptures, the first chapters of Holy Qur’an were heaven-sent to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), sacred month of Ramadan comes to its end. It incarnates ideas of moral perfection, triumph of peace and good, calls all the believers to moral purity and piety, mercy and care for neighbour.

Religious traditions are important components of society’s moral foundation. I am pleased that spiritual renewal and revival is actively in process in the republic, people have started to understand necessity to preserve and multiply the most rich culture heritage.

I sincerely believe that true moral values of traditional Islam, good thoughts and intentions will play a decisive role in opposition between positive and negative phenomena of modern world, will serve to strengthening of interethnic and interreligional consent, development of constructive dialog and cooperation for better of our home republic. On this auspicious day I wish you peace and homely homes, sound health and spiritual forces for many years!
