President of Tatarstan congratulated on occasion of holiday Uraza - Bairam to Chairman of Council of muftis of Russia

President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev sent a congratulation on the occasion of holiday Uraza -Bairam to Chairman of Council of muftis of Russia, Chairman of Spiritual Board of Muslims of the European part of Russia, mufti sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, informs the press centre of RT President .

In a congratulation it is said : Holy month Ramadan comes to the end with one of the main and beloved by each Muslim holiday having deep historical roots. The centuries-old beneficial traditions of Islam enjoy today special value for revival of spirituality and morals in a society, preservation of civil peace and inter-confessional consent in the country. I do not doubt, that Muslims of Russia, always being themselves an example of peaceful disposition and toleration, will be and henceforth to bring in a worthy mite in development of cultural and spiritual traditions, strengthening accord and mutual understanding between all peoples of the multinational Russian Federation.
