Mintimer Shaimiev took part in opening new diary factory “Edelveis-M”

November 1, new diary factory “Edelveis-M” opened in Tatarstan. Its production volume is 1000 tones of milk per day. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and RF State Duma Deputy Airat Khairullin tore the symbolic strip at the opening ceremony.

New diary factory is special with its deep and 100% handling of the raw without waste. Factory is equipped with “Tetra Pak” machinery. It is able to manufacture such products as milk, cream, enriched infant food, fermented milk products – sour cream, yoghurts, cheeses and vitamin-rich healthy whey-based beverages.


After viewing and testing yoghurts and cheeses Mintimer Shaimiev expressed his ideas from the seen by one word: “Terrific!” and underlined: “A powerful contemporary production line of such kind should be loaded. The process of milk production itself requires the highest organisation. One cannot win the market applying old-time technologies, especially when lots of diary is imported from abroad. I think that we on the right track. It is wonderful project. There was not a plant of such production volume. I congratulate all citizens of Tatarstan with this acquisition”.
