Mintimer Shaimiev took part in opening building of chancellery and Cultural center of General consulate of Turkish Republic in Kazan

Today the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkish Republic in Russia Kurultush Tashkent took part in opening ceremony of chancellery building and Cultural center of General consulate of Turkish Republic in Kazan.

Addressing to the participants of solemn ceremony, the head of Tatarstan emphasized that opening of General consulate building in Kazan is one of the major stages on the path of rapprochement traversed for these years between the two fraternal people that became possible due to reorganization of our society. «When the world became open for us, the Turkish leadership made possible renewal of historical communications, recollecting our common roots which allow us to solve the problems concerning not only our peoples, but also all Turkic world», - RT President emphasized.
