Interaction of checking bodies and control over expenditure of funds should be fulfilled maximum effectively, Mintimer Shaimiev considers

The issues of implementing Federal target program of social and economic development of the republic for 2001-2006, monitoring of municipal formations after coming into force of the federal law on local self-government and activity of RT Accounting Chamber were discussed at the Kazan Kremlin during meeting between President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and RF Chairman of Accounting Chamber Sergey Stepashin.

In Mintimer Shaimiev's opinion, the Federal control-accounting body is involved rather effectively. "We have created Accounting Chamber of our republic as the constitutional body of the government. It is that case when not we are imposed but when we suggest and show the will to cooperate with federal authority, - President of Tatarstan said winding up preliminary results of joint activity of the two control bodies. Form of the work has been outlined, structured, today we have defined how to operate further.
