President of Tatarstan held meeting on actual problems of social and economic life of the republic

President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev held the Cabinet session on actual problems of social, economic and political life of the republic. Heads of the RT ministries and departments took part in it.

Mintimer Shaimiev noted, that presently positive events are underway connected with the situation that state enjoys real financial possibilities for settling acute social problems in the society. Under initiative of the RF President national projects of federal scale on public health services, education, hypothecary crediting, demography and other spheres have appeared. Tatarstan should find the place in these vital projects, - he emphasized, - we have managed to make much to the 1000-anniversary of Kazan and it is now very important, not reducing pace to move further.
