Mintimer Shaimiev planted a pine in Kazan 1000-Anniversary Park

On September 8, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin visited Kazan 1000th Anniversary Park.



The park is divided into several zones, each bears a special name: “Rise”, “Eastern garden”, “Sadness garden”, “Maidan”, “Love garden”. Alleys will be beautified with birches, oaks, chestnuts, lime trees, willows, wild ash and pines. On August 26 there was a festive opening of the monument to outstanding Tatar poet-philosopher of the Bolgar epoch Kul-Gali. Mintimer Shaimiev, Rustam Minnikhanov and Farid Mukhametshin placed flowers at the monument right after arrival.
