In his speech at the session of the RF State Council taking place now in Kazan, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev noted, that the State Council of the Russian Federation as institute of the government has justified itself.

He considers, that in the Russian Federation there should be common legal space because democracy is based on legal ground, and federalism - on precise distribution of powers. RT President considers, that the Russian Federation will get stronger by the regions possessing big potential. Mintimer Shaimiev especially stopped on problems of interethnic and interconfessional accord in the country, spoke out number of wishes and ideas in this occasion. The head of republic has especially emphasized, that Tatarstan is and will be the worthy making of the Russian Federation.
