Interior Minister of Russia Rashid Nurgaliev arrived in Kazan

On July 27, Interior Minister of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev arrived in Kazan. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Prime-Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Interior Minister of RF Colonel-General Alexander Chekalin, RT Interior Minister Asgat Safarov and other officials met him in the airport.

Visit programme of RF Interior Minister includes session of control headquarters of RF Ministry of Internal Affairs “About the public security measures for the period of Kazan 1000-anniversary” and action meeting with senior officials from MIA, Main Departments of Internal Affairs of the Volga Federal district subjects “About the Volga Federal district bodies of internal affairs’ activity results for the first half of 2005”, RT MIA Press-service informs.
