Mintimer Shaimiev: “We should help strong companies, from which we can get a quick profit”

On July 4, a work trip of RT President Mintimer Shaimiev to Atninsky region started from inspecting the fields.

President has been satisfied by the winter rye and pea. A detailed discussion about the machinery preparation to the harvesting campaign, provision the farms with fuels and lubricants and other topical problems of village was also held in the field.

M.Shaimiev noted, Atninsky region is a specific one, where the question on investments should be solved rather carefully. Agricultural enterprises of the region may be included to a special programme, according to which successfully developing farms obtain long-term interest free loans.

President and accompanying persons participated in a solemn opening of Culture and Sport Complex in the regional centre Bolshaya Atnya.

Summing up the results of the trip, Mintimer Shaimiev noted that Atninsky region is a special one. “On its example, - he said, - one can see at which state our spirituality is, language, customs of Tatars, what is losing and what is coming to replace it”. Assessing condition of the region’s agriculture, M.Shaimiev noted, that there are economically feasible companies, which go further, but there are weak ones too. “We have come now to a conclusion, - President continued, - that only strong companies should be supported, from which we can get a quick profit.
