Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev holds republican meeting on issues of reforming utility services branch

Today's trip of President Mintimer Shaimiev to Elabuga started from visiting JSC "Tat MEL- LIFT".

Prior to the beginning of republican meeting on issues of reforming housing and communal services of the republic which is to be held at the city House of culture, Mintimer Shaimiev and heads of the RT ministries and departments have familiarized with an exhibition of special equipment for housing and communal services made at the enterprises of republic.

President of Tatarstan is accompanied with RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, chief of RT President Administration Jury Kamaltynov, and other officials.

(Kazan, June 21, Dilyara Rakhimova). On June 23, the scientific - practical conference "Revival of Islam in Tatar society : problems and prospects" opens in Kazan. As its organizers appeared the Executive committee of World Congress of Tatars and Religious Board of RT Muslims.
About 150 religious figures - representatives of Muslim communities from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation including from republics of the Volga region, Moscow, Leningrad, the Nizhniy Novgorod will take part in the conference. They will discuss problems of arranging of Muslim parishes, socio-linguistic aspects of mosque's activity and Muslim religious education in Russia. A number of reports is devoted to studying jadidism.
