The seminar - meeting on issues of agriculture took place in Spassky region. The point was about the outcomes of the first half-year and preparation for a harvest season. According to the tradition, heads of administrations, and the republican organizations of agrarian and industrial complex, regional agricultural offices were addressed by the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

Then, the plenary meeting opened by the President of Tatarstan was held. In Tatarstan today there are more than thousand agricultural enterprises of various patterns of ownership, co-operative farms, trust companies, open and closed joint-stock companies, the unitary enterprises, associations and about fifty collective farms and state farms. As there are no two identical villages, there are no two identical fields, and experiences are different, but Tatarstanians enjoy a sure success. The most important - the potential was not lost in the republic, we do not have non - arable lands, land in Tatarstan is working. Confirmation to that is growth of agricultural production which for five months of this year has exceeded five percents (on Russia of 0,9 percents). One more pleasant fact: For five months the wage arrears in village reduced to 40 percents .

With the main report at the meeting performed RT vice-premier - minister of agriculture and foodstuffs Marat Akhmetov. He named his speech as organizational - mobilization, since it was devoted to how to carry out in the shortest terms and lost-free harvesting.

Finishing meeting, the head of Tatarstan noted, that there are abundance of all on the fields both forages, and bread, only time is not enough.
