Volga branch of the Russian oncology research centre n.a. N. Blokhin to open in Kazan

The Volga branch of the Russian oncology research centre n.a. N. Blokhin will be founded in Kazan basing on the Clinical oncology dispensary under the RT Ministry of Health this year. Such decision was made during the meeting of President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Director of the centre Mikhail Davydov.

To attack the “plague of the 20th century”, which is not the Aids, Mikhail Davydov believes, but cancer, was decided by “the whole world”, uniting efforts of the leadership of the republic, the Russian oncology research centre, the Russian Academy of Medical sciences, various international and republican fight against cancer foundations.
