Tatarstan's best directors of the year announced

The award ceremony of the best directors of republican companies was held on February 28 in the Cultural and Entertainment Complex "Pyramid". Twenty-three winners were chosen out of 260 applicants. The winners received gold breastplates "The Director of the Year" and certificates signed by the RT President. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, and Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin were present at the award ceremony.

"The best directors of our republic, those who ensure forward social and economic development of Tatarstan have gathered here today", Mintimer Shaimiev said addressing the participants of the ceremony. The RT President expressed appreciation to the heads of the companies and their staffs for the work for the welfare of the republic.

The winners of the most prestigious nomination “For the most important contribution to the economy of Tatarstan” are Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan Yevgeny Bogachev and Director General of OAO “Kamaz” Sergei Kogogin.
