Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the session of the Presidium of the RF State Council dedicated to the state of the Russian aviation industry

On February 22, a session of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation led by President of Russia Vladimir Putin was held in Zhukovskoye, near Moscow. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the session. "On the state and prospects of the development of the Russian aviation-industrial complex " will be the main issue to be considered by the participants of the session. Leaders of the working group of the State Council of the Russian Federation, Head of the administration of the Voronezh oblast Vladimir Kulakov and Minister of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation Viktor Khristenko will deliver their reports.

The working group of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation on issues of the development of the Russian aviation industrial complex includes heads of those subjects of the Russian Federation in the territory of which the largest enterprises of the aviation industry are located, representatives of the related ministries and departments, heads of big enterprises and scientific-research institutes of aviation industry.
