Certificate of inclusion of Tatarstan's state symbols in the State Heraldic Register presented to President of Tatarstan

Participants of the meeting of President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation - State King-of-Arms of the Russian Federation Mr. Georgy Vilinbakhovym became witnesses of a historic event on January 27. The President was presented with the Certificate of the inclusion of the state symbols of the Republic of Tatarstan in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation. The Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan is registered under number 377, the Flag of the Republic of Tatarstan - under number 378.

The President noted that being participants of historic events we frequently do not realize it, as well as we do not realise that today's event - the inclusion of the state symbols of the republic to the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation is a historic act, a remarkable event. «Let's hope that they will be there for ever», the President emphasized.
