President of Tatarstan considers, that terms of pensions rise are necessary to speed up

January 17, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the meeting conducted by Chairman of RF Government Mikhail Fradkov. The meeting dealt with questions of implementing measures on leveling the system of social protection of citizens in conformity with differentiation of powers between bodies of the government and institutions of local government. Members of the Government of the Russian Federation and heads of federal executive authorities, responsible officers of RF President Administration, and a number of heads of subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the event . Mintimer Shaimiev in his statement particularly characterized the situation about course of monetization the privileges stipulated according to the Federal law as of August 22, 2004, N 122. In particular, he mentioned the problems arising during realization of the given document, first of all, regarding transport service of benefit holders. President of Tatarstan suggested to issue uniform tickets both for the republican, and for federal benefit holders instead of the monetary compensations allocated for these purposes from local and federal budgets. He also emphasized, that it is necessary to speed up terms of pensions rise for all categories of pensioners. Mintimer Shaimiev considers necessary and possible to accept in Tatarstan in the near future a number of concrete measures in view of remarks and offers from benefit holders, pensioners.
