President of Tatarstan in Aznakaevo

On December 10, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev visited Aznakaevo, Tatarstan to take part in the opening ceremony of the Ice Palace “Altyn Alka”. The President’s agenda also included visits to Aznakaevsky plant “Neftemash” and public objects.

For last twenty-five years, the life in Aznakaevsky district has been inseparably linked with the development of oil fields, the Romashkinskoye oil field in particular. Today, there are 450 enterprises, organisations of various patterns of ownership working in the town and region. The district can boast of a wide network of educational institutions, infant schools, hospitals, cultural and sport centres.
