President of Turkey and President of Tatarstan had a telephone conversation

On September 17, there was a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer and President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, who is on vacations in Antalya.

In the telephone conversation the President of Turkey marked dynamic development of the cooperation between the republics, successful work of Turkish companies in Tatarstan.

President Sezer expressed his regret that the tragic events in North Ossetia had postponed the official visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to Turkey. He underlined that the visit would take place later and he would be glad to see Mr. Shaimiev, who is to be included in the delegation.

The Turkish President wished well-being and prosperity to the people of Tatarstan, and having good time in the Turkish land to President Shaimiev and his wife.br>
