Largest wholesaler has opened in Kazan

August 27 saw an opening of Metro Cash&Carry store take place in Kazan.

A broad range of only food products numbers 11,000 items. The store’s clients will find products of Kazan company “Kholod”, “Kazan meat-packing plant”, “Tatplodovoscshprom” and others.

Talking at the opening ceremony, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev marked that the last years saw the development of good friendly relations of Germany and Russia. Today’s event is evidence. Today, Tatarstan works for bringing the living standard to the European level. It is not an easy task but we prove it by concrete deeds. The companies like Metro Cash&Carry are not used to losing. They know that people will buy their products. And it means that the social and economic life in the republic must be at an adequate level. It is an easy and understandable formula. The opening was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Russia, the Kazan Mayor, the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation.
