President meets with Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe

On June 26, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev met with Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Alvaro Gil Robles in the Kazan Kremlin. They discussed a wide range of issues related to the observance of human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Commission for Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation Emma Pamphilova, RT Vice Prime Minister Zilya Valeyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Rashit Vagizov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, RT Minister of Justice Midkhat Kurmanov, et al.
