Kazakhstan is interested in Tatarstan's output

The delegation of Republic Kazakhstan led by President Noursultan Nazarabev visited S. P. Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Production Works.

Noursultan Nazarbaev together with President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev attended one of the workshops of the enterprise where exhibition of Tatarstan consumer goods has been performed. The guests with big interest studied exposition, especially, quite for a long time studying the stands of " KamAZ ", "Tatneft" and "Tatenergo".

Talking with journalists, Noursultan Nazarbaev noted, that the Russian Federation is the largest foreign trade partner of Kazakhstan, occupying 30 percent of its export. To increase trade turnover, it is necessary to adjust partnership with regions of Russia, therefore we have arrived in Tatarstan to study opportunities of interaction of economies of the two republics. This exhibition shows, that there are a lot of latent reserves. Kazakhstan can beneficially buy Tatarstan goods, and your republic, in turn, requires products of mining and processing branches of Kazakhstan - black and nonferrous metals, ferroalloys and much other. I think, that shortly we would see results of our cooperation in substantial growth of commodity circulation, President of Kazakhstan emphasized.
