Mintimer Shaimiev: Putin consistently manifests determination to strengthen Russia

The state of the nation address by head of the state manifests to Federal Assembly determination of President of the country to consecutive actions on strengthening the Russian Federation, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev considers.

"Sequence of Russian President is traced all last years in this", - Mintimer Shaimiev noted Wednesday in interview to "Interfax". He also emphasized importance of the fact that Vladimir Putin paid a big attention to problems of social development. M.Shaimiev also singled out that everything about what President of the Russian Federation had been speaking was expressed not in the form of wishes but in the form of specific targets and ways of their implementation. "And it seems to me that the bastings stated in the Address will already have realized by the government in near future", - he added.

First of all, M.Shaimiev explained, the point is on necessity of creating conditions to make accessible habitation for the widest layers of population and, first of all, the youth. " Not less attention President gave to issues of maintenance of accessible public health services and education also for the widest layers of residents of Russia and in particular socially unprotected groups ",- head of republic emphasized. He noted, that in conditions of transition to market economy and emergence of paid medicine for socially vulnerable part of residents of Russia many medical services appeared actually inaccessible. " It is remarkable, that the President has emphasized necessity of creating conditions for qualitative service of this part of residents of Russia, and creating for them accessible conditions for obtaining qualitative education ", - M. Shaimiev explained. But the most important, from his point of view, in the Address was the statement by head of the state that Russia would not turn from the path of Democratic development.
