President met with rector

Kazan Kremlin, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev has received Dr. of physical and mathematical sciences, Prof. Jury Petrushenko, authorized by the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation from May 20 of this year in a post of rector of the Kazan state power university(KGEU) .

President of Tatarstan congratulated Jury Petrushenko on assumption of an office and emphasized that the Kazan state power university is one of leading educational institutions in education system of the republic, RT President press centre informs. Being one of three power universities of the country the KGEU is training experts for all Russian power supply system. During the conversation it has been marked, that the KGEU activities should be based, first of all, on mutually advantageous cooperation with JSC " Tatenergo ".
