Kazan and Yaroslavl strengthen cooperation

The program of actions on implementation of Friendship treaty and cooperation between Kazan and Yaroslavl has been signed by Chief of Kazan administration Kamil Iskhakov and Mayor of Yaroslavl Victor Volonchunas at the expocentre " Kazan fair ".

From 2004 to 2005 cooperation of two large Russian cities is expected to develop on various directions, including the field of culture, education, public health services, scientific activities and sports. The signed program would promote adjustment of contacts between the industrial enterprises of the two regions, information exchange and exchange of administrative experience. Signing was preceded with visiting permanent exposition of the "Kazan fair " where output of leading Tatarstan commodity producers - "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", " Krasny Vostok ", Kazancompressormash", "Spartak " and others was presented.
