Tatarstan and Iran: prospects of cooperation

Cooperation in different spheres – oil prospecting and extraction, oil and gas industry, production of machine oil, high blocks construction – was discussed at the meeting of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and President of “Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation” Mohammed Froozande at the Kazan Kremlin.

Mohammed Froozande said the talks at the Kazan Kremlin were constructive and went on to say that there was a good basis for further cooperation and the intended plans would only be a beginning.

Each meeting allows better understanding of each other and broader cooperation in many spheres, Mintimer Shaimiev noted. Tatarstan continues cooperation with many countries. I often have to answer a question if there appeared difficulties in conducting international and foreign economic activity. I always confidently respond that if regions have a wish to carry our international activity, all the conditions are created today in Russia.
