Award ceremony at the Kazan Kremlin

The Kazan Kremlin, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev presented state awards of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan to the best workers of the republic.

The high awards were conferred on 41 Tatarstanians, among which there are doctors, teachers, art workers, turners, machine operators, machine engineers. The order of Honour was conferred on chief physician of children's republican clinical hospital Eugeny Karpukhin (in 2003 this medical institution was recognized as the best among children's hospitals of Russia), the award of Courage was conferred on scientific secretary of Branch of agricultural sciences of the RT Academy of Sciences, participant of liquidation of consequences of catastrophe at the Chernobyl atomic power station Robert Ilyazov, the award of Friendship was conferred on chairman of the Tatar republican branch of the Russian union of former juvenile prisoners of fascist concentration camps Rakhilya Abdullina, medal "For services to Fatherland" of the 2nd degree was conferred on Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the RT Andrey Vazanov.

The honorary title "Deserved builder of the Russian Federation " was conferred on general director of JSC "Tatstroi" Ilgizar Yakupov. President noted that this enterprise had made a great contribution to implementing the program of liquidation of dilapidated housing and wished success to the employees of the company.
