House of Arts opened in Sosnovy Bor

On March 9, the House of Arts for arts and cultural workers of the Republic of Tatarstan opened on the territory of the health center “Vasilyevskiy” in Sosnovy Bor (Pinery).

Foat Galimullin, the chairman of the RT Union of Writers, called the opening of the House of Arts a significant event in cultural life of the republic. Writers, composers, and artists looked forward to the event. It was not by chance that the House of Arts was opened in the health center “Vasilyevsky”. First of all, it is a unique piece of nature with buildings and constructions belonging to the end of the 19th century, and many outstanding people visited this place.

President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening ceremony and marked that the House of Arts would be a wonderful place for work and rest for creative intelligentsia of Tatarstan. Mintimer Shaimiev wished success, well-being and health to arts and cultural workers and presented them with two pianos.

The opening of the House Arts was attended by RT Vice-Prime Minister Zilya Valeyeva, Vice-President of the RT State Council Robert Minnullin, Chairman of the RT Federation of Trade Unions RT Tatyana Vodopyanova, RT Minister of Culture Ildus Tarkhanov, Director General of the Agency for Mass Communication "Tatmedia" Marat Muratov, Head of Zelenodolsk district administration Gennady Yemelyanov and others.
