Kazan hosts Forum of Youth Organisations “We are united”

The Forum of Youth Organisations took place on the big stage of the “Basket-hall” on December 2, 2003. The All-Russian “Youth Unity” social organisation was one of the initiators of the Forum.

The forum brought together some seven thousand representatives of the youth organisations, students and pupils of the republic.

The gathering was greeted by the deputy of the RF State Duma, leader of the All-Russian “Youth Unity” social organisation, Alexandra Buratayeva. Addressing to the attendees, the Co-Chairman of the Higher Council of the United Russia party, President of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Shaimiev said that the forum of the youth organisations is an opportunity for the open dialogue about the present and future. It is the XXI century generation that will build Russia and Tatarstan.

The forum ended with an entertainment programme with participation of popular Russian artists.
