Cultural-athletic sports centre “Kaleidoscope” named in public as “Aquapark” opened its doors on 14 November in Tatarstan.
The capital of Tatarstan is changing its look, said Co-Chairman of the Higher Council of the “United Russia” party Mintimer Shaimiev, who was participating in the commencement meeting. Since last two years there had been constructed in Kazan such huge complexes as “Pyramid”, “Fitness centre”, ”Basket hall”; a large net of supermarkets and sports palace for 10,000 seats are still under construction. I was vexed to know that our youth went to Samara especially in order to relax in the Aquapark, Mintimer Shaimiev said. We also have an ambition that’s why we had constructed the biggest in Russia cultural-sanitary water complex. The most interesting thing is that it will be an incompatible combination – underneath people will be bathing and atop they’ll be playing hockey. It is gratifying to know that the project organisers are our republic companies and this project is financed also by our banks. When we finance the objects ourselves it means that these banks will earn more, and there will also be an opportunity to construct such complexes in the future. The “Ak Bars” Bank, “Tatfondbank” and “Intekhbank” had granted a credit to complex construction.
