Almetyevsk - forward to the future

As it was reported, Bugulma and Almetyevsk saw the Celebration of the 60-th Anniversary of Tatarstan Oil, held on September, 5-6.

Karabash village was the last place in Bugulma district visited by President Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister Zilya Valeeva, Director General of the JSC “Tatneft” and others.

There had been no such a neglected settlement in Tatarstan, as Karabash, - Mintimer Shaimiev said, - but today it is so modern and so well cared that I have no wish to leave. Farid Mukhametshin called Karabash “Olympic village” for a big amount of sport facilities. There are semi-closed hockey ground, gym, weight-lifting gym, running lanes, soccer field, two volleyball grounds, wrestling hall in the ‘Neftche’ sport center. More than 40 different district, city and republic contests are held here every year. Mintimer Shaimiev wished all Karabash citizens to achieve all their aims.
