Tatarstan defence plants get support

The ways of improving the situation at the enterprises of ammunition branches were discussed at the Kazan Kremlin during the meeting between the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and director - general of the Russian agency on ammunition Victor Holstov.

As already informed, new head of "Rosboyepripas ", who replaced on this post Zinovi Pak, at the end of the last week visited four Tatarstan enterprises - "POZIS" "Tochmash", Kazan gunpowder plant and the State scientific research institute of chemical products. State of business at these enterprises became a subject of the meeting held at the RT Ministry of economy and industry. By the results of two-day work of "Rosboyepripas" representatives led by director general of agency the final Protocol was signed at the RT Cabinet.

Having familiarized with the document and the proposals stated by the participants of a meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Mintimer Shaimiev approved the measures directed on normalization of financial -economic activities of the enterprises strategically important for defense of the country, and on further use of their potential. Improvement of a situation in branch will be promoted by increase of the state defensive order.
