Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Kazan

During his meeting with President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev on June 20 in the Kazan Kremlin, Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Russian Federation Rauf Saad called his first visit a beginning of a new era of development of Tatar-Egyptian relations.

During the meeting they discussed all aspects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Egypt. In the near future they will create the Kazan Business Council and Egypt - Council of governors to solve issues of private business. They will also analyze the opportunity of opening of direct flights between Kazan and cities of Egypt, expand the circle of the twin-cities, issues of cooperation in the sphere of economy, culture and religion.
