Meetings in Moscow

On February 13-14, President of Tatarstan MIntimer Shaimiev held a number of working meetings in Moscow. M. Shaimiev and RF Minister of natural resources Vitaly Artyukhov discussed the results of 2002 and actions for 2003. The RT prime Minister R.Minnikhanov took part in the conversation. During meeting with the mayor of Moscow Jury Luzhkov held on this very day, the issues of the further expansion of mutually advantageous economic and cultural communications were discussed. M.Shaimiev met with well - known cardio-surgeon Renat Akchurin who presently heads Non-commercial partnership "Vatanym", and the editor - in - chief of the publication of this organization - newspaper " Tatar world " Vadim Churbanov. During conversation the issues of expanding cooperation with public organizations of Republic Tatarstan were mentioned.

February 14, the President of Tatarstan took part in the celebrations devoted to a 10-anniversary of "Gasprom" formation which were held at the State Kremlin palace with participation of political and business elite of the country, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions.
