Tatarstan President visited Mamadysh

On February 7 in Mamadysh the meeting of farm workers was held.

Welcoming the best Mamadysh machine operators and cattle breeders, RT President M.Shaimiev noticed that it is a special case of success. Mamadysh is one of the largest areas of Tatarstan on farmlands, arable lands. There were various problems here. The President said that the tasks facing the district are carried out on all directions of social and economic development. The district can reach high parameters, it has a high potential. It is necessary to move further, to provide reproduction and construction, to achieve farm profitability. M.Shaimiev estimated the activity of the district administration as an example of successes that can be reached by concerted efforts.

Growth of manufacture for the last year made 30 percent. For the first time in 2002 it produced 35,6 centners of grain from a hectare, productivity of some farms exceededing 50 centners. The cattle stock of teh district increased by one thousand breeding cows.
