In Old Kakerly - new club, in Old Drozhanny - school

Concurrently two socially significant objects have opened in Drozhannovsky region of Tatarstan on January 17. In the village Old Kakerly new club with 300 seats opened its doors and in regional center Old Drozhannoe opened a new school designed for 184 pupils. Both objects were built by JSC " Drozhannovsky intereconomic building association ". The President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the celebrations on the occasion of their opening.

Today in the village Old Kakerly lives about one and a half thousand people. Construction of so important object the village people here started two more years back. The old club was in an emergency condition, and it was demolished, and on its place has appeared a beautiful modern building with impressing internal furnish - marble, soft armchairs for spectators, velvet embroidered curtain. In a new building will be located chess-draughts, choreographic, drama and other circles. For construction of the club was spent about 16,5 million roubles, over one and a half millions were spent for the modern equipment and stock.

We have finished 2002 quite well, noticed the head of republic, now it is necessary to work so that in 2003 achievements were not less. It is necessary to create all conditions for worthy life of people at the village. It would be desirable for all villages of the region to have good roads, practically everywhere the gas is provided , schools are under construction. Schools are already equipped with computers, now it is necessary to provide the Internet - countrymen should not lag behind the townspeople. Wherever our children studied, they should receive knowledge at a modern level, the President emphasized.

To cope with this task should help a new school opened on the same day in Old Drozhannoe. This event was expected here for a long time - the foundation of educational institution was laid in 1998.

The head of region administration Dzhevdet Gafurov, having congratulated schoolboys, noted, that in old school children were trained in two shifts because of what they had to come back home late. Now this problem is done away. The new building initially intended for children's home, was reconstructed, and now here are modern spacious studies, computer classes and many other things, what is necessary for educational process. The school has costed over than 16 million roubles.

Last years, President of Tatarstan said, much has been done for children more, than in epoch of great constructions. It is necessary to aspire already today to give the children corresponding education both in city, and in village. He has once again noted the necessity of developing the Internet network, cellular communication, a cable television that it was accessible to each inhabitant. In his opinion, in republic the program on information for 2003-2007 years was adopted rather in due time. Undoubtedly, this will demand capital investments, efforts of commercial structures, but we should open the world for ourselves, Mintimer Shaimiev emphasized, we create conditions so that each person might show his capacities.

As gift from the President of Tatarstan the new club received cinematographic equipment, and school - keys for the new bus and a computer class.

Replying to journalists about prospects for this year, Mintimer Shaimiev noted, that the last year in republic were commissioned 27 schools for 5700 seats. Kindergartens, educational institutions will be built further, all social programs will be carried out in general. We shall not reduce rates, assured the head of republic. Some reduction of tax receipts in the budget of republic because of their redistribution with the centre, according to the President of Tatarstan, will be filled due to increase of a production efficiency and simultaneous escalating of taxable base.
