Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in the meeting of Tatarstan State Council
On July 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, members of the regional government and invited guests took part in the 49th final meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation.
The people’s deputies considered 40 issues, including eight projects of regional bills, three legislative initiatives of the regional State Council and 11 projects of federal bills and legislative initiatives of Russian regions.
Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin reported on the results of work of Tatarstan State Council of the fifth convocation.
Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked people’s deputies of the fifth convocation for the fruitful work, which ensured the successful socio-economic development of the republic.
Minnikhanov also said that on September 8, elections of people’s deputies of Tatarstan State Council of the new convocation will be held. He expressed confidence that the best, energetic representatives of the multinational people of Tatarstan will come to the parliament.
