Mintimer Shaimiev has attended a lying in repose of Fatikh Sibagatullin

On 25 June Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhanetshin attended a lying in repose of the outstanding state and political leader Fatikh Sibagatullin.

The mourning ceremony was held in the regional Ministry of Agriculture as Sibagatullin paid much attention to the development of the agribusiness and in 1990-1996 was the Head of the Ministry. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Mintimer Shaymiev said that the death of Fatikh Sibagatullin was a huge loss for Tatarstan. “He was a bright administrator and made a big contribution into development of agriculture in the republic and was very faithful to his Motherland”, he said. 

In his speech, Farid Mukhametshin said that Sibagatullin was a patriot of his people and Fatherland. “He facilitated the continuous development of the republic and its population and did a lot for improving the quality of life of his compatriots. On behalf of all residents of our republic I want to express deep condolences to relatives, colleagues and friends of Fatikh Saubanovich”, he concluded.
