Mintimer Shaimiev hands over awards to winners of final swimming competitions

On August 6, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev visited swimming competitions of the 16th FINA World Championship 2015 at Kazan Arena stadium.
Mintimer Shaimiev and four-time Olympic champion Aleksandr Popov took part in the awarding ceremony of winners of 100m freestyle.
Farid Mukhametshin handed over a gold medal to the Chinese sportsman Ning Zetao. Mintimer Shaimiev handed over silver and bronze medals to Cameron McEvoy (Australia) and Federico Grabich (Argentina). Russian sportsman Aleksandr Sukhorukov was sixth.
