Mintimer Shaimiev holds meeting on building hotel complex in Bolgar

On December 23, in Bolgar, Tatarstan State Counsellor and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Revival Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev held a brief meeting on building a hotel complex.

The construction work began at the end of April with a ceremony of laying the first stone, attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The investors are Tatarstan oil producers Tatneft and Taif.

Korston Group was elected the hotel complex management company.

General Director of Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt Adel Khusnutdinov, General Director of Gran group of construction companies Leonid Anisimov and others told about the course of construction.

Shaimiev noted that results of a competition to select a name for the hotel complex have been summed up. In an online voting, Tatarstan residents selected the name ‘Kul Gali’, the name of a great poet who lived and worked in Bolgar. “The complex located at a most beautiful Volga bank will become a place beloved by tourists and visitors of ancient Bolgar,” he summed up.

The Kul Gali complex is scheduled to open in 2017.

President of Korston Group Anatoly Kuznetsov and General Director of Korston Kazan Rais Mubarakzianov took part in the meeting.
