Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in 20th session of Tatarstan State Council

On September 21, at the Saidashev Great Concert Hall in Kazan, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the 20th session of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation at which Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov delivered his annual address to the Council.

Tatarstan President outlined main aspects of  the socio-political and economic life in the republic. In his address Minnikhanov announced tasks and objectives the region is facing.

After the meeting, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev talked to journalists. "Tatarstan President managed to cover all urgent problems, state of affairs, a lot of positive moments in the development of the republic under crisis conditions. Fortunately, due to long-term investment the republic passes through repeated crises with minor losses. Today's presidential address is a good message to work for the further development of the republic," he said.

Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, members of the Federation Council and State Duma of the Russian Federation, permanent representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan abroad and in Russian regions, Chairman of the Auditing Chamber, heads of municipalities, industrial enterprises, banks, universities, public organizations and other officials.
